Ibile Foundation Lagos, a non-profit citizens sector organisation focused on socio-economic development in Lagos has unveiled plans for its “Changing Face of Lagos” campaign. 
Since 2009, Ibile Foundation has been involved in the delivery of numerous initiatives to promote Lagos which has earned it the title “The Foundation for FutureLagos”.
Under the global theme “Preserving the best of the past, Striving for quality today and Planning properly for the future”, Changing Face of Lagos will utilise traditional and digital media platforms to showcase the socio-economic development projects around Lagos and present the bright and prosperous FutureLagos that is emerging.
Changing Face of Lagos will through multimedia platforms, propagate Lagos’ economic and investment opportunities, tourism potential, immense arts and cultural heritage and her wide range of entertainment hospitality, culinary and leisure experiences. 
All completed and ongoing projects being executed across the state will be featured on the digital platform and mobile app, as well as future planned projects to be implemented over the next five years.
The Changing Face of Lagos website will act as the content hub for details of all projects around “IBILE” and will provide regular updates on ongoing projects across Lagos while availing Lagosians the opportunity to be a part of the changing face of their city.
Among ongoing projects to be given attention are the Eko Atlantic City, Light Rail Project, Oshodi Bus Terminal, Ikeja Bus Terminal, Cleaner Lagos Initiative, Lagos Airport Road Project, Lagos Badagry Expressway and numerous roads infrastructure projects across all local governments and local government development areas around the state. 
The initiative will also include YourVoiceLagos, an e-citizens engagement platform to give every Lagosians the opportunity to have a voice in their government. 
According to Henry Balogun, Founder/CEO of Ibile Foundation, “Our goal is to showcase the journey to FutureLagos, a 21st century cosmopolitan mega-city in the heart of Africa, a  major economic and financial hub, Africa’s 3rd largest economy and most powerful city brand in Africa by the year 2023”.
People are the soul on Lagos. The objective of the campaign is to foster interaction, create a feeling of cooperation as well as a sense of belonging and, form a partnership with Lagosians to live out the professed love for their state by taking ownership of their city, become active partners with the State Government and support initiatives to build and promote a more attractive, vibrant and soulful city which they will be proud of and will attract investors and visitors. 
He said further, “Our journey to FutureLagos has started and everyone is invited”. Our mission at Ibile Foundation is to promote Lagos, it’s sights and sound, and the opportunities it has to offer local and global audiences. 
Ibile Foundation is also the promoter of the I Love Lagos and LagosGO initiatives and plans are underway to host the first ever FutureLagos Summit later in 2018.
