Photo: 15-year-old housewife kills step-daughter because she was ''irritating'' her

The Niger state police command has arrested a 15-year-old housewife, Fatima Adamu, and her ex-lover, Usman Mohammed, of Egbati village in the Agaie Local Government Area of the state, for killing their daughter, Hauwa.

Acording to the police, Fatima and Mohammed administered a concoction to Hauwa who is Mohammed's love child from a past relationship. After killing her, Fatima and Mohammed dumped Hauwa's body in the bush with some of her body parts missing. 
When interrogated, Fatima said she purposely killed Hauwa.
“I purposely killed my step-daughter because I didn’t like her. She irritated me a lot. I planned with Mohammed to poison her to death. I just woke up one morning to take her life and I cannot tell what had come over me to kill an innocent child that had not offended me in any way. May Allah forgive me; it is the worst offence against humanity. “ she said
When interrogated, Mohammed said he regrets his action.
The suspects who are currently in police custody, will soon be arraigned in court.
