Yesterday, the remains of an internally displaced boy who was shot dead by an angry soldier in Maiduguri on Tuesday May 1st, was  laid to rest. According to Dogo Shettima, the media aide  to the deputy governor of Borno state, the little boy was shot dead because he allegedly refused to give the soldier money.
Army officials attended the boy's funeral and have launched an investigation into the matter.
